Robert advises on a variety of shipping and commercial disputes both in the High Court and in arbitration.
Robert, together with Mike Lax, was heavily involved in the multi-million dollar disputes in the Fiona Trust, Novoship (UK) and the BP Oil Ltd v Target Shipping Ltd cases. More recently, he has been instructed in High Court proceedings between his client and the trading arm of a major oil company valued at $2 billion and in arbitration proceedings regarding the cancellation of a shipbuilding contract.
